Meet the Minds Behind The Inkwell

The Inkwell was built by two lifelong nerds with a shared dream: to create a place where stories come to life, dice hit the table, and people feel like they belong.

We’re Megan and David: partners in life and business. The Inkwell was born from our shared love of storytelling, gaming, and the kind of cozy community spaces we always wished existed.

Megan is an English teacher, writer, and amateur event planner. She's the reason our calendar is always full of book clubs, trivia nights, and themed parties with way too much attention to detail. When she's not curating the perfect atmosphere, she's probably writing one.

David is our resident comic book expert, tcg strategist, and Dungeon Master. He’s the brains behind our game nights and TTRPG offerings, and the reason there's always something epic going on at the tables.

We didn’t want to open just another bar, bookstore, or event space—we wanted to open this one. A cozy, nerdy, come-as-you-are space where introverts and extroverts, gamers and readers, brunch lovers and trivia buffs could all find their corner.

Together, we’ve built The Inkwell as a place for readers, gamers, introverts, extroverts, creatives, weirdos, wallflowers, and everyone in between. This is the place to gather, celebrate, geek out, and make memories—with good food, great people, and a little bit of magic.
